The Etonkids Educational Group is a collaborative of experts in the fields of education, research, and school management established by alumni of Northwestern and Harvard universities, with representatives of international Montessori organizations. As an Etonkids English Specialist, you act as a teaching assistant alongside an equivalent Chinese Specialist, and a Montessori certified lead-teacher. Together, the teaching team provides a unique bilingual Montessori learning environment for students in either a 3-6 or 1-3 years classroom.

English Specialists are warm and outgoing native English speakers with interest in early education and helping young children learn and succeed. Most English Specialists hold a college degree and TEFL certification, though TEFL certification is not required. A cheerful personality and experience working with young children are the most important traits of an Etonkids English Specialist.

Requirements
* BA Degree (TEFL a plus)
* Native English speaker from US, Canada, Australia, UK
* Warm, cheerful and creative teacher who enjoys working on a teaching team
* early childhood teaching experience

Details:
* Full time Mon-Fri with 1-hour lunch break each day
* Professional Development: EMTTA (Etonkids Montessori Teacher Training Academy) training available for Montessori certification.
* Salary from RMB 11,000/month (after tax) based on your experience and qualifications
* Probation required (2 months at 90 percent pay)
* Work Visa documentation
* Travel bonuses with 2 year commitment
* 50 percent international medical insurance your first year; 80 percentinternational medical insurance second & subsequent years

Applications for the EMTTA 2010-2011 are being accepted until the program begins in July, 2010, however early application is highly recommended as spaces are limited.

EMTTA is a MACTE accredited & American Montessori Society (AMS) affiliated teacher credentialing program*, offering courses, work opportunities and internship placements for student teachers in 0-3 (infant-toddler) and 2.5-6 (early childhood) classrooms.

Montessori credentialed teachers are in constant demand around the world.
